In 2019, I started an exciting project to build a special place for the Bridlewood Presbyterian Church in Toronto. This space was meant to be the heart of community involvement and development. The project involved careful planning, advanced 3D modeling, creative design, and a thorough understanding of the church's goals and the youth it caters to. The design of the Bridlewood Presbyterian Church Youth Club reflects my commitment and skill, aiming to create a space that promotes unity and belonging for the youth, offering a warm and inspiring atmosphere.

Design Concept:
The design of the Bridlewood Presbyterian Church Youth Club cleverly combines
modern and traditional elements, reflecting the values and aspirations of the
church community. The main idea behind the design is to create a flexible and
lively space that can host various activities, all the while fostering spiritual and personal growth among the youth. It aims to be a versatile and welcoming environment that aligns with the church's core principles.

Space Planning:
I carefully planned out the space, making sure each area had a specific use to maximize functionality. There are different sections, like a play area, a place for studying, cozy tables, a dedicated worship space, and additional facilities like storage or closet. The way these areas are set up encourages both group activities and individual activities, supporting the church's goal of fostering overall development.

  1. Innovative Design Elements:
The Bridlewood Presbyterian Church Youth Club stands out with its unique design, incorporating smart features. The club is designed to create a cozy and welcoming feel. The materials chosen for construction align with the church's dedication to sustainability, opting and eco-friendly. The color scheme and interior design are thoughtfully chosen to inspire a sense of peace, togetherness, and motivation.

  2. Blueprints and Plans:
I carefully crafted detailed plans and blueprints for the construction. These documents serve as a clear guide, making sure that every part of the design is built accurately. The plans include details for architecture, electrical work, plumbing, and HVAC systems, leaving no room for confusion during construction.

  3. Community Engagement:
In creating the Youth Club, I made sure to involve the community every step of the way. They actively asked for ideas and thoughts from both the congregation and the young people, making them feel like they were a crucial part of the project. This approach was to create a sense of belonging and enthusiasm among the community members. By including everyone in the process, the Youth Club is designed to truly represent the community's dreams and desires.
